Scoring methodology

Infrastructure Score — Methodology

A measure of existing and planned infrastructure.

Version 1.0 · Updated 2 Jul 2026

The Infrastructure Score reflects the maturity of existing infrastructure and the credibility of planned upgrades (roads, metro, utilities and civic amenities).

Inputs & weightage:

  • Existing infrastructure maturity
  • Planned/announced upgrades
  • Delivery credibility

Calculation principle: the score is produced by a deterministic model — the same inputs always yield the same score, with no randomness and no external AI generation.

Interpretation: A higher score indicates a better-serviced location today with a credible upgrade path, supporting long-term livability and value.

Limitations: Planned infrastructure is subject to government timelines and may be delayed.
